Before you read any further or start to get angry with us, please note. Sam Bambino wants to see Zac play Hal Jordan. It’s all in good fun, it’s a turn of phrase, it merely means we’re finding ways to get your attention and to keep you guessing. Because if this show is about anything, it’s about making people wonder what the hell it is we do week to week.
This week say a slow down in news, but that surely won’t stop us from talking at length about all things comicy. We are also joined by friend of the show Eric Trautmann. We may have also been visited by “Internet Jesus” Warren Ellis, but that’s pure conjecture.
What is not is Eric’s new JSA vs. Kobra book, his upcoming web series with Brandon Jerwa, Mico Pierfederici and David Messina, Wide Awake. See that little icon to your right, kids? Go ahead and click to get a sneak peak at the cover of the first week’s series, or check the show notes below! Tiger Men, away!
Noth’n fits better than a dead man’s shirt.

Today’s music by San Diego punk band, Critical Me.
WIZARD PREZ GRABS BIG APPLE CON
Yeah, it’s a press release, but it’s an interesting one, to say the least. Wizard, who has shut down probably half its shows over the past year and a half, now owns the longest running New York comic convention. Another thing to note is the partnership being built with the east coast Video Games Expo. So while the West Coast Comic-Con International allies with Hollywood, the East is taking up the video game industry. Isn’t evolution fun?
BRIAN AUSTIN GREENE AND HIS CAMPAIGN TO BE HAL
It’s not the first time someone expressed interest in playing a particular super hero, and not even the first time the actor seemed to fit the character. It is the first time, however, that we’ve seen accompanying artwork. If there is justice in the universe, Hal Jordan will not be wearing armor any time soon. For chrissakes.
“The gossip mills are churning today with news that Transformers’ Megan Fox could possibly be the She-Hulk in a Marvel film.
For those unfamiliar with the character, Jennifer Walters was turned into the She-Hulk after she received a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner, the Incredible Hulk. Walters, a District Attorney, was shot and dying. The only way to save her life was for Banner to transfuse his gamma-irradiated blood into her.
As a result, Walters found herself transformed into a She-Hulk. But, unlike her raging cousin, she was able to control herself in her “hulk” state.
The She-Hulk has been a member of The Fantastic Four, The Avengers and associated with several other super groups in the Marvel Universe.
What would you think of Transformer’s Megan Fox as the She-Hulk? Does she fit the build? Do you think they’d have her as Jennifer Walters and do a CGI She-Hulk? “
This image was one of several revealed by Marvel group editor Tom Brevoort in his weekly image dumps. Marvel has also been pushing Cap #50 very hard. Could we be getting a new Bucky, and a female one at that? The SHIELD emblem on the belt makes me think Sharon Carter.
FIRST LOOK AT JSA ART FROM MERINO
Sure, it looks like a set of covers, but the man can draw a pretty, and extremely detailed, picture. Here’s hoping Willingham falls on the better side of things. Or at least better than Shadowpact.
